His thinking-outside-the-box approach and his unique business strengths provide the platform for Allied Worldwide to deliver innovative customer solutions.
Richard brings over 20 years of wisdom from the IT industry with experience in sales, marketing and customer support at an operational and managerial level with companies such as Plessey, Granada and Memorex. He has made his mark by pioneering one of UK's primary outsource service providers - Allied Worldwide.
Akash's experience spans over ten years in a number of areas such as technical support, infrastructure services, networks, service desk, offshored services, pre-sales and revenue generation in both enterprise and medium sized businesses. He has used his business know-how to drive a number of initiatives that have benefitted the business in terms of productivity, efficiency and costs. Akash has complete P&L responsibilities for AWBS which supports the business with IT, Analytics, HR, Finance, Customer Services, Technical Service Desk, Marketing and Sales. Akash's role is focused on a number of aspects that will enable AWBS to transition into a margin-driven business, through initiatives that drive marketing, pre-sales and sales from AWBS. He is involved in ensuring innovation and best practices in technology solutions, service design, transitions, market rates and delivery. As Solutions Director, Akash is supporting overall growth of business revenue by building and developing a solutions approach to our market, providing support and advice to our direct and indirect sales and marketing teams. He is also providing ongoing help and advice on sales opportunities, including involvement in client facing meetings and presentations.
Chief Technology Officer
Bhupinder has over 24 years experience in the IT Industry with a hands on & creative approach for winning and delivering consulting services & growing consulting practices, based around a business solutions approach, combining software offerings from vendors such as SAP, Virtustream, HP, IBM, CISCO, OpenText, Sun Microsystems/Oracle and Microsoft & several other 3rd party solutions, resulting in a best of breed solution for clients.
Bhupinder recently joined Allied Worldwide from Wipro Technologies where he served as SAP Real Time Digital Platform Director(EMEA) since January 2013, as a “Thought Leader” & “Subject Matter Expert”, in migration to the “Next generation of SAP” incorporating SAP Digital Transformation.
Working with a wide range of clients over the last 21 years, in industries including, Banking & Finance, Insurance, Central Government, Local Government, Utilities, Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals & Telecommunications, Bhupinder has driven the development of an overall SAP Strategy & Roadmap (incorporating a Cloud Migration & Mobility Strategy), resulting in the modernisation of the client’s SAP Estate.
Bhupinder has extensive experience & knowledge of SAP software implementations, consulting, support & upgrades, delivered with a blended, Global, Onshore & Offshore Delivery model.
Vaughan will be combining 30 years’ experience of Sales and Service management and bringing them to focus on his role as Commercial Director. He also brings to bear over a decade of PRINCE2 and ITIL experience, enshrining best practice into all of Allied's service portfolio. As the Commercial Director, Vaughan with be providing oversight on commercial and contractual processes to both ensure account viability and service sustainability while maximising commercial terms and resultant benefits, of new and existing business. Vaughan will be working closely with Nigel and the Sales Team in support of contractual negotiations while also assisting the Management Team in designing and developing new service methodologies and platforms.
Shireen's career began over 25 years ago when she started off as a Course Administrator at the Royal College of GPs. She has held a number of important roles post that and gained extensive experience in human resources, employee relations and recruitment. She has provided business solutions and professional advice for a range of HR issues. Her expertise includes knowledge of the complex TUPE transfer and she has successfully managed more than one such transfer. At present, the focus of Shireen’s role is on the recruitment and development roadmap of our staff. The Recruitment Team will comprise three strands – fulfilment for our existing customers; lead fulfilment in competitive scenarios and an external agency model. From a people engagement perspective, we will seek to build upon our Academy of Apprentices to present additional customer solutions and ‘grow our own’ engineer base, as well as, define a clear development roadmap for our existing teams.
